Headway The Brain Injury Association
Headway – the brain injury association supports people whose lives have been affected by brain injury, including people living with the long-term effects of acquired or traumatic brain injury, their families and carers. It provides specialist information and advice, a nurse-led helpline, local rehabilitation and support services, community and peer-support groups, carer support, social reintegration, respite care and financial assistance through its Emergency Fund. It also provides extensive online information and an online community for people affected by brain injury.
