The Ambulance Staff Charity (TASC)
TASC is a national charity that helps ambulance service workers to access support for their mental health, financial wellbeing or recovery from injury. They offer a 24/7 ambulance staff crisis phoneline, an online wellbeing hub, and an in-house consellor to ensure staff get the right treatment for their needs.They also offer bereavement support for families and colleagues of ambulance staff, and can try to arrange access to a residential programme at a treatment centre if a staff member is injured in line of duty. TASC also offers advice on debt, budgeting and benefits entitlement to ambulance staff.
