Understanding Voices provides information and practical resources for people who hear voices, as well as their families, friends and professionals. It covers different ways of understanding voice-hearing, coping strategies, talking therapies, medication, peer support and information about getting help during a crisis. The website also includes personal experiences, downloadable resources and information specifically for young people and older adults. It was developed by Hearing the Voice at Durham University in collaboration with people with lived experience, families and mental health professionals.
