Limbless Association
Free
The Limbless Association is a national charity dedicated to ensuring that no amputee has to cope alone. Operating under an early-intervention model, the charity supports individuals pre- and post-amputation, as well as those living with congenital limb loss. Their core offering is a "Volunteer Visitor" peer-support scheme, matching service users with trained, DBS-checked amputees who offer firsthand understanding and emotional reassurance. In addition, the charity provides a dedicated helpdesk, step-by-step information packs, specialized legal and benefits guidance, and community connection hubs designed to help amputees, their families, and their carers navigate physical, practical, and psychological recovery.
