Birth Trauma Association (BTA)
Free
The Birth Trauma Association peer support service offers personal, remote assistance to parents who are struggling with the psychological impact of a difficult or traumatic birth, including those experiencing Post-Natal Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The service is delivered entirely by trained parent volunteers who have fully recovered from their own birth trauma and understand the unique emotional distress of the experience. Through shared understanding, they provide a safe, non-judgmental space for parents and their partners to talk, feel heard, and discover strategies that can help guide them toward their own recovery.
