The WellChild Family Welfare Service and Information Hub assist families caring for children and young people with complex medical needs to access vital financial assistance and essential items. While WellChild does not directly issue the grants themselves, they act as an expert signposting and support service to help families research, apply for, and successfully secure external grants. Through this assistance, families can obtain funding for critical items not covered by the NHS, such as specialized medical equipment, sensory toys, bedroom or garden adaptations, and everyday basic necessities like children's beds, clothing, or white goods.
