North Warwickshire Counselling Service
Free
The North Warwickshire Counselling Service is an independent voluntary organization and registered charity that has provided confidential talking therapies since 1984. The service bridges the gap between limited, short-term NHS mental health pathways and expensive private therapy. Operating from a psychodynamic and person-centered approach, their team of trained volunteer counselors work alongside clients to explore past and present feelings, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. Because they receive no statutory government funding, they operate on a sliding, negotiable donation scale. Clients are simply asked to contribute what they can reasonably afford per 50-minute weekly session, ensuring that financial hardship is never a barrier to accessing long-term emotional support.
