New Hope Counselling
New Hope is a registered charity that provides affordable, confidential counseling to adults and teenagers aged 16 and over. The service bridges the gap for individuals who need professional therapeutic support but cannot afford the expensive rates of standard private therapy. Though rooted in a Christian ethos, New Hope is completely non-discriminatory; they support individuals of any faith or none, and religion does not form part of the therapy sessions unless the client specifically requests it. They provide up to 16 structured sessions of one-to-one therapy. Because it is a non-profit service run by qualified and supervised trainee practitioners, they operate on a low-cost donation system (requesting a minimum contribution per session) to keep the service sustainable for the community.
