NHS Coventry, Warwickshire & Solihull Talking Therapies (IAPT)
Free
NHS Talking Therapies (formerly known as IAPT) is a free, confidential psychological service delivered as a collaboration between the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust and Coventry and Warwickshire Mind. The service bridges the gap between self-managing mental distress and requiring acute hospital psychiatric care. Catering to anyone aged 16 and over, the service offers evidence-based treatments tailored to individual needs. This includes short-term guided self-help coached by a practitioner, computerized Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), specialized couple therapy for depression, and structured one-to-one or group counseling. They also provide targeted psychological pathways for individuals coping with low mood or anxiety stemming from long-term physical health conditions or during the perinatal period.
