CRUSE

Cruse Bereavement Support is the UK’s largest national bereavement charity. The organization is dedicated to ensuring everyone has somewhere to turn when a loved one dies, bridging the gap between acute personal loss and emotional recovery. Cruse delivers free, confidential care through a vast network of trained bereavement volunteers. Their services include immediate emotional relief via a national freephone helpline, a dedicated youth-support portal called Hope Again, and structured, one-to-one support sessions delivered over the phone or via video call. They also host local peer-to-peer grief support groups and community walking groups to break down the profound isolation that often follows a loss.
