Coventry Homelessness Advice Service
Free
The Coventry Homelessness Advice Service functions as the primary point of contact for anyone who is currently homeless or at imminent risk of losing their home within 56 days. Operating under the legal requirements of the Homelessness Reduction Act, the service works proactively to prevent homelessness by assessing an individual's or family's specific circumstances and formulating a personalized housing plan. Staff offer critical mediation between tenants and landlords, give advice on legal eviction processes, and help people find alternative, affordable accommodation in the private or social sectors. For individuals in immediate crisis, the service assesses eligibility for emergency temporary accommodation and provides rapid support to rough sleepers, connecting them with local outreach teams, medical services, and wider community networks. If you are homeless and have nowhere safe to stay tonight, please call 024 7683 4025. Our phone lines are open 9am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday. For out of hours emergencies please call 024 7683 2222. If you are worried you may be at risk of losing your home, you can access help by completing an online referral.
