The Rowland Hill Fund provides practical, non-repayable financial grants to current, retired, or former employees of the Royal Mail Group (including Royal Mail, Post Office Ltd, Parcelforce Worldwide, and Romec) as well as their dependants. The charity targets individuals facing sudden, unexpected life challenges or financial hardship—such as emergency home repairs, severe illness, or building arrears—rather than offering ongoing income supplements. Grants are calculated on a case-by-case basis and are paid directly to relevant third parties (such as landlords, utility companies, or mobility aid retailers) to directly resolve the recipient's pressing financial commitments.
