The British Gas Energy Trust is an independent, registered charitable trust funded solely by British Gas since 2004. It functions as one of the UK's largest and most vital interventions against fuel poverty and domestic financial crisis. What makes this Trust unique is that it does not mind who your energy supplier is—a large portion of its support framework is completely open to households across Great Britain, regardless of whether they are with British Gas, E.ON Next, EDF, or Octopus.
