The L-W-O Community is a national, patient-led support network and advocacy platform for anyone living with lymphoedema. Founded by a patient in 2013, the platform focuses on filling the gaps left by traditional healthcare systems by empowering individuals to manage their condition independently. They provide accessible, non-medical health literacy resources on essential self-management strategies—such as simple lymphatic drainage, healthy eating, skin safety, and using compression garments. Beyond practical tools, they focus heavily on emotional wellness, providing a safe digital space where thousands of members can share experiences, tips, and mutual empathy.
