The MND Association is the only national charity in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland focused entirely on MND care, research, and campaigning. Instead of treating patients clinically in a hospital ward, they operate as a care, funding, and support network. They coordinate care by funding specialist MND Care Centres, provide emotional support via local branches, purchase speech-generating equipment and mobility aids, train healthcare professionals, and fund multi-million-pound global scientific research initiatives aimed at finding a cure.
