The Coventry & Warwickshire Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group is a local, volunteer-run support branch affiliated with the national charity Asthma + Lung UK (formerly part of the British Lung Foundation's Breathe Easy network). Instead of offering medical procedures or physical therapy, this service offers social and emotional peer support. It provides a regular meeting space where patients, family members, and carers can get together, share coping mechanisms for dealing with breathlessness, listen to respiratory health experts, and find a community that understands the emotional toll of a chronic lung diagnosis.
