Admiral Nurse Service (Coventry & Rugby GP Alliance in partnership with Dementia UK) is a specialist dementia nursing service providing expert clinical, emotional, and practical support for people living with dementia and their families/carers. It supports people from diagnosis through to end-of-life care, helping families manage complex emotional, behavioural, and practical challenges associated with dementia. The service is delivered by specially trained Admiral Nurses, who provide one-to-one support, care coordination, and coping strategies, while also working with wider health and social care teams to improve continuity of care and reduce crisis situations.
