Warwickshire Young Carers
Free
Warwickshire Young Carers Project is a specialist support service for children, young people, and young adult carers aged roughly 6 to 25 who help care for a family member with illness, disability, mental health needs, or substance misuse issues. The service provides emotional support, respite activities, advocacy, educational support, family support, and help with future aspirations such as college, university, and employment. The organisation works holistically with the young carer and their family, helping reduce the impact of inappropriate caring responsibilities on education, wellbeing, social life, and long-term outcomes. Support includes one-to-one sessions, peer groups, trips, school support, and transitions services for older young carers.
