Omega UK “Chatterbox” service is a free, volunteer-led telephone befriending programme designed to reduce loneliness and social isolation by matching individuals with trained DBS-checked volunteers for regular supportive phone conversations. It provides consistent emotional support, friendly conversation, and companionship for people who may be isolated, housebound, elderly, caring for others, or struggling with life circumstances that limit social contact.
