Macmillan Buddies Service is a volunteer-led emotional support service for people living with cancer. It matches individuals affected by cancer with trained volunteer “buddies” who provide regular weekly phone, video, or sometimes face-to-face conversations. The service offers a safe, confidential space to talk about feelings, worries, and everyday experiences of living with cancer, helping reduce emotional distress, loneliness, and isolation during diagnosis, treatment, or recovery.
