Good Neighbours service (HOPE Coventry) is a befriending and social support service for older adults experiencing loneliness or social isolation, delivered through trained volunteer befrienders offering regular contact, conversation, and companionship. It is a community-based, relationship-focused intervention, where volunteers provide phone calls, home visits, shared activities, and help connecting to local services, with the main goal of improving wellbeing and reducing loneliness.
